Overview

Convercent offers an Ethics Cloud Platform that mines company datasets—from global sales to HR—to heat‑map potential ethical risks and surface outliers. The product set includes employee reporting/whistleblower systems, disclosure-management tools, and vendor risk data collection. The company says its tools have fielded more than 156,000 cases to date, including over 1,000 related to sexual harassment. In 2017 Convercent reported revenue growth of 60% year‑over‑year, with most growth in North America and increasing demand in Europe and the Middle East. Its customer base is nearly 600 companies (including Unilever, Kimberly‑Clark, Tesla, Uber, Zenefits, Under Armour, Airbnb and LinkedIn), it added 29 customers in Q3, and its retention rate is effectively 100%. Convercent plans to use investment to expand analytics and data‑science capabilities, launch new machine learning and AI initiatives, and grow its U.S. and EMEA footprint. Convercent provides a SaaS-based enterprise application that enables companies to proactively manage their ethics and compliance programs and instill ethical business practices. Led by co-founder and CEO Patrick Quinlan, the company serves hundreds of customers in more than 130 countries, including Ruby Tuesday, Zenefits, Kimberly-Clark Corporation and PPG Industries. It is based in Denver, Colorado. The company closed a $10M funding round from existing investors Sapphire Ventures and Tola Capital, bringing total capital raised to $47M. Convercent intends to use the funds to accelerate growth through investments in innovation and expansion of its sales and marketing worldwide. Convercent provides a risk-based global compliance solution that enables the design, implementation and measurement of effective compliance programs, integrating management of corporate compliance risks, cases, disclosures, training and policies. The company serves customers in more than 130 countries, including Philip Morris International, CH2M Hill and Under Armour. Led by CEO Patrick Quinlan, Convercent is based in Denver, CO. The company raised $11M in a Series C financing led by Tola Capital, with participation from Sapphire Ventures and existing investors Azure Capital, Mantucket Capital and Rho Capital Partners. In conjunction with the funding, Stacey Giard, COO and principal of Tola Capital, will join Convercent’s board. Proceeds will be used to enhance predictive analytics and reporting and to expand global sales and marketing efforts. Convercent, led by CEO Patrick Quinlan, provides an integrated suite for managing company policies, tracking employee education and streamlining case management while aligning with company values. The platform is available in more than 50 languages and is accessible on any mobile device. Convercent focuses on culture and compliance solutions for organizations. On October 25, 2013 the company secured $10M in Series B funding. City National Bank has also increased its debt facility with the company. In conjunction with the funding, Doug Higgins of SAP Ventures will join Convercent’s board. Convercent offers compliance software that brings social, mobile and consumer user‑interface design to corporate ethics and compliance. It raised $10.2 million to advance its product. The platform uses semantic web technologies to link disparate data sets, aggregates unstructured data, and builds analysis to help anticipate issues rather than react to them. The software visualizes corporate data so compliance officers can get broad or detailed pictures of the organization and identify trouble spots. Convercent provides mobile apps for iPhone and Android that let employees access company values, training materials, and share activities such as volunteer photos to boost engagement. The company is positioned as part of a new wave disrupting HR but faces competition from major enterprise vendors like IBM.
