Cortexia SA develops AI-based technology for the environmental sector, operating a platform already deployed for urban cleanliness management. Its combined software-and-hardware solution is designed to measurably improve cleaning services, reduce resource use and lower environmental impact. Reference customers include the cities of Basel, Geneva, GPSO (Grand Paris Seine Ouest), Bordeaux, Strasbourg, Frankfurt and Hamburg, as well as companies such as Veolia and Suez. The company is extending its platform into broader waste management and received Swiss Accelerator support from Innosuisse earlier this year for a bio-waste recycling improvement solution. Cortexia is pursuing international expansion across Europe, including the Benelux, and has launched an "Alliance for the improvement of bio-waste quality" involving key Swiss sector players. To support growth and new application development it completed an oversubscribed CHF 2.35 million financing round.
