Founded by Pankaj Pandey and Ehtesham Farooqui and based in Mumbai, Cropcoin Technologies provides onsite systems that turn animal waste into organic fertiliser and biostimulants for poultry and dairy farms. The company focuses on agricultural waste management and soil health restoration, helping farms generate revenue from waste while keeping operations cleaner. To date it has managed over 4,000 tons of waste and supports a community of more than 70,000 farmers across Bihar, Jharkhand, and Northeast India. Financially, Cropcoin recently closed a Rs 12 Crore Pre-Series A round led by Unicorn India Ventures with participation from Climate angels. The firm plans to use the new funding to expand its operations geographically, scaling from presence in 10 districts to cover all 66 districts of Bihar and Jharkhand.
