Crosswise has developed a cross-device identification mapping platform that anonymously identifies which devices—such as smartphones, tablets, PCs and digital TVs—are being used by individual consumers. It relies on proprietary machine learning, data science and Big Data technologies to build its device map. The device map is marketed to ad tech vendors, retail brands and premium publishers to enable cross-device advertising, content personalization and analytics. Led by founder and CEO Steven Glanz, Crosswise intends to use the funding to expand its international presence and increase sales and marketing efforts. The company closed a $3M Series A round of financing led by Pereg Ventures with participation from ZhenFund, Emerge and existing investors Giza Venture Capital, OurCrowd and Horizons Ventures. The announcement was reported in February 2015.
