CryoCloud provides a cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM) SaaS platform that enables researchers to visualise and analyse protein structures at high resolution. The platform automates complex structural biology workflows and gives scientists access to petabytes of storage and dozens of GPUs in minutes rather than months. It uses proprietary machine-learning algorithms to process terabytes of structural data and reduce the time and cost of molecular imaging. The €2M Seed round brings total investment to €2.8M following a €500,000 Pre-Seed in 2023. Customers report higher productivity, and the customer base spans more than 25 countries across academia, biotech, and the pharmaceutical industry. CryoCloud has moved beyond concept to a launched product and recently closed external financing. It raised €500k in a pre-seed round led by Nina Capital with participation from Utrecht Health Seed Fund and ROM Utrecht Region.
