The company also builds modular, security-focused tooling across the dApp lifecycle—from CI testing to push-button deployment backed by secure credential management—and is developing enterprise security offerings. Cubist closed a $7 million seed round and will use the funding to expand its team, accelerate product development, and scale its technological capabilities. The team includes former fraud operations executives and multiple computer-security professors and researchers from Carnegie Mellon University and UC San Diego who have collectively published over 80 research papers. Cubist positions its tools to reduce developer friction and prevent security mistakes that arise from stitching together incompatible infrastructure components.
