Overview
Curv provides keyless multi-party computation (MPC) technology and a tech stack that delivers customized digital-asset security solutions for crypto-native and traditional financial institutions. Its adaptable platform supports hot, warm and cold wallet configurations as well as all tokens and protocols regardless of the underlying blockchain or DLT. Curv is used by dozens of customers across the globe, including Franklin Templeton, eToro and Genesis. The company publicly made tX — an elite group of cryptographers and engineers who use Curv’s keyless technology to develop flexible deployment models for both crypto-native and traditional financial institutions. Curv plans to use the Series A proceeds to continue international growth, build new solutions inside tX, pursue product innovations and hire talent. Led by CEO Itay Malinger, Curv is headquartered in NYC with R&D offices in Tel-Aviv, Israel. Curv offers a software-only, cloud-based institutional digital asset wallet that eliminates traditional private keys by using proprietary multi-party computation (MPC) protocols to sign transactions in a distributed manner. The service is designed to provide strong security, instant availability, and autonomy for financial institutions and enterprises while removing single points of failure and physical key management. Curv's platform includes a policy engine for granular controls, setup/management of blockchain infrastructure, and per-employee cryptographic shares so no single device holds a full private key. The company unveiled its Institutional Digital Asset Wallet Service and said it will be available as a subscription starting March 25, with a private beta already running with exchanges, custodians, fintech firms, and institutional investors. Curv is led by CEO Itay Malinger and CTO Dan Yadlin and counts cryptography experts Jonathan Katz and Ben Riva among its team. Financially, Curv raised $6.5 million in the announced funding round to support its product rollout.
