Overview
Curve Health is a care enablement platform led by CEO Rob MacNaughton that enables patients and providers to connect beyond a facility. Its solution includes telemedicine, health information exchange, data and predictive analytics, and billing integrations. The platform is designed to help patients avoid unnecessary trips to the hospital, provide providers with a one-of-a-kind user experience, and help skilled nursing facilities, healthcare systems, and provider groups improve their bottom line. In July, Curve partnered with CareConnectMD, a California-based provider group delivering value-based care for people living in nursing homes via its High Needs Direct Contracting Entity. Curve Health raised $12M in a Series A financing and intends to use the funds to scale nationwide. The company’s investor base includes both new and returning backers across venture firms and angels. Curve Health delivers connected senior care through a platform that combines telemedicine, smart billing, health information exchange and predictive analytics. The platform integrates virtual care, billing, data exchange and predictive analytics to support senior care workflows. The company is led by newly appointed CEO Rob MacNaughton, with Timothy Peck, MD, the founding CEO, serving as President and Executive Chair. Curve Health intends to use the newly raised capital to continue to expand operations and broaden its business reach. It raised a $6M seed round led by Lightspeed Venture Partners. Curve is NYC-based and has added board observers and members tied to investors and partners, including Dr. Ling Wong (Lightspeed), Tim Brown (IDEO) and Ben Jealous.
