DBV Technologies develops an epicutaneous patch technology to deliver allergens to the skin for Epicutaneous Immunotherapy (EPIT), targeting food allergies such as peanut and milk. Its proprietary patch maintains an allergen on the skin for repeated and prolonged periods to obtain clinical desensitization. The company secured €19.4M ($25.5M) in a Series C financing to advance that patch technology and its clinical program. The financing was co-led by InnoBio Fund and Lundbeckfond Ventures and included strategic and financial investors. DBV is based in Paris, France. Aelios Finance advised the company on the transaction.
