Genticel develops therapeutic vaccines against high‑risk HPV infections. The company’s lead candidate, ProCervix, completed a Phase I clinical study and is moving into Phase II to demonstrate proof of efficacy. Its pipeline also includes a CyaA‑based multivalent HPV vaccine designed to cover additional virus subtypes. Genticel plans to use newly raised funds to advance both HPV vaccine candidates through clinical development. The company is led by founder and CEO Benedikt Timmerman and is based in Paris and Toulouse, France. Genticel, formerly BT Pharma, is a Labège, France-based biopharmaceutical company developing therapeutic immunotherapies targeting HPV-caused cancers. Its proprietary platform is Adenylate Cyclase (CyaA) and its lead candidate is the therapeutic HPV vaccine ProCervix. The company aims to provide a curative vaccine solution that complements existing prophylactic HPV vaccines, with a focus on preventing cervical cancer in HPV-infected women. Genticel secured €13.1m in additional funding to advance clinical development. The proceeds are earmarked to support a "first-in-man" clinical trial of the CyaA platform and a Phase I clinical trial of ProCervix. As part of the financing, Dr Alain Munoz of AGF Private Equity joined the company’s supervisory board.

TxCell is a France-based biotechnology company developing cell-based immunotherapies, focused on antigen-specific regulatory T cell (Treg) therapies. Its lead product candidate, Ovasave, is an antigen-specific Treg cell‑based immunotherapy for Crohn’s disease patients refractory to current treatments. The company intends to use the new capital to advance development of Ovasave. TxCell completed a first-in-man Phase I/II clinical study in France to evaluate the tolerability and efficacy of the product. It is a spin-off of Inserm and is led by chairman and CEO Francois Meyer. The company is based in the technology park of Sophia Antipolis, near Nice in southern France and has been funded by venture capital since 2004, having raised €23.9m to date.

Biom'Up reported turnover of more than €3m in 2014 and expected over 30% sales growth for its existing product portfolio in 2015. The company plans to use new funds to further develop HEMOBLAST TM, specifically to support its clinical study activities in Europe and North America. Operations are based in Saint-Priest, France. Biom'Up designs, develops and manufactures re-absorbable medical implants for a range of surgical applications from nerve regeneration to cardio-thoracic surgery. DBV Technologies develops an epicutaneous patch technology to deliver allergens to the skin for Epicutaneous Immunotherapy (EPIT), targeting food allergies such as peanut and milk. Its proprietary patch maintains an allergen on the skin for repeated and prolonged periods to obtain clinical desensitization. The company secured €19.4M ($25.5M) in a Series C financing to advance that patch technology and its clinical program. The financing was co-led by InnoBio Fund and Lundbeckfond Ventures and included strategic and financial investors. DBV is based in Paris, France. Aelios Finance advised the company on the transaction.

Arterial Remodeling Technologies develops fully resorbable coronary polymer stents intended to promote natural remodeling of an injured artery after angioplasty. The technology is based on intellectual property originating from the Cleveland Clinic, CNRS (Montpellier) and Descartes University (Paris). The company is based in Noisy le Roi, France. On 21 September 2010 it closed an $8.5M new venture financing round. That financing brought the total capital raised by the company to date to $17M. Investors in the round included existing backers Matignon Technologies and Amundi Private Equity Funds and new partner InnoBio Fund (managed by CDC Entreprises).
