  • Womed

    Founded in 2018 and based on the CNRS campus in Montpellier, Womed develops intravaginal/intrauterine polymer-based treatments for women's health. Its FDA-approved device Womed Leaf is intended to prevent intrauterine adhesions and the company reports about 2,000 women helped to date with a target of 95,000 women treated per year by 2028. Eynia is an investigational, gynecologist-administered biodegradable polymer treatment for fibroids that blocks progesterone for three months before degrading, and is planned to enter phase II trials. Womed says it aims to expand into treatments for acute bleeding and endometriosis. The company employs ten people and works with a similar number of consultants, including Dr André Ulmann. Financially, Womed recently raised €5 million from institutional investors, is running €1 million in public crowdfunding, and had previously raised €6 million in 2024.

    Founded in 2020 in Toulouse, Bohr Énergie operates a proprietary platform that combines software, AI, algorithms, production forecasting, market analysis and regulatory expertise to enable optimisation and commercialisation of distributed renewable and flexible assets. As an independent aggregator it manages solar, wind, hydro, batteries and hybrid systems, enabling asset owners to participate in electricity markets. The firm currently has more than 170 renewable and flexible assets in its portfolio and expects to reach close to 1 GW under management by the end of the year. Management plans to use the Series A capital to consolidate its French position, accelerate platform development and launch additional services. Bohr has signalled international expansion with Spain and Italy among its priority markets.
