DesignMedix is a Portland, Oregon-based biotech developing drugs to overcome drug resistance, with an initial focus on oral malaria treatments. Founded in 2008 and led by Dr. Sandra Shotwell (president and COO), the company is building a pipeline that also targets new anti-bacterial drugs.
