Diagon

The Embarcadero, San Francisco, CA, 94111, United States

Overview

Diagon was founded in January 2023 to help companies of all sizes procure industrial and automation equipment by combining a network of equipment suppliers, system integrators and service providers with a procurement toolkit. The company uses AI to answer questions about required infrastructure and qualification steps (for example, what a company would need to become an iron‑based battery provider in the U.S.). Diagon launched its platform in November 2023 after participating in Techstars and grew to six employees and about a half‑dozen customers, including Mitra Chem, Zeno Power and Mighty Buildings. The company is initially deploying its software as a pilot with professional services customers and plans a broader release in the summer. It is developing tools to help customers find suppliers and interpret and summarize quotes. Diagon recently raised funding that the company says provides runway for roughly two years and will enable hiring for product and go‑to‑market roles.
