  • Avatar Robotics

    Participated · Seed · Aug 2026

Avatar Robotics builds humanoid robots integrated with a global fleet of remote operators and AI autonomy to perform industrial tasks such as picking, packing, kitting, sorting, cycle counting, and material movement. Since launching in December 2025, its robots have processed over 900,000 products and the company has entered a post-pilot expansion with a multi-billion-dollar warehouse operator. Avatar emphasizes a human-in-the-loop approach that delivers plug-and-play labor capacity immediately while collecting data to improve autonomy over time. The company plans to scale robot fleets, accelerate autonomy software, and grow engineering and operations teams to support broader deployments. Avatar envisions scaling to millions of robots across warehouses, factories, mines, farms, and other infrastructure, and is headquartered in San Francisco.

  • Mobius Materials

    Participated · Seed · Dec 2025

Mobius Materials, founded in 2021 and based in Virginia, runs a certified B2B exchange billed as the first “stock market for semiconductors.” The platform connects OEMs and contract manufacturers, bringing liquidity, quality control and price transparency to the $25 billion secondary chip market. Already used by hundreds of manufacturers, Mobius promises 10–70 % cost savings, access to rare components, and fully authenticated parts delivered in under two weeks. The company is developing an e-auction feature to let sellers reach thousands of qualified buyers and close deals in weeks instead of months. It has also filed a patent for a machine-learning system that authenticates component quality. Future plans include expanding global operations across Asia, Europe and the Americas and growing the leadership team, including a search for a Head of Operations. By reducing waste and supply-chain shocks amid volatile tariffs, Mobius targets industries ranging from consumer electronics to automotive and healthcare.

  • MyAvana

    Participated · Seed · Aug 2024

Myavana, led by CEO and Founder Candace Mitchell, is an Atlanta, GA-based beauty tech company specializing in AI-driven personalized hair care. Its HairAI technology uses microscopic hair analysis and advanced algorithms to decode hair texture, type, and condition and provide instant product recommendations tailored to specific needs. The company’s real-time data analytics platform and Hair RI solution enable partners like Ulta and Amazon to drive purchases. Myavana has collaborated with the National Black-Owned Beauty Supply Association and Braintrust Founders Studio and has facilitated distribution to over 1,000 retailers and salons. The company raised $5.9M in Seed funding and intends to use the proceeds to expand operations and consolidate its position. Backers include a mix of venture firms and strategic investors that support its retail and distribution strategy.

  • Diagon

    Participated · Seed · Apr 2024

Diagon was founded in January 2023 to help companies of all sizes procure industrial and automation equipment by combining a network of equipment suppliers, system integrators and service providers with a procurement toolkit. The company uses AI to answer questions about required infrastructure and qualification steps (for example, what a company would need to become an iron‑based battery provider in the U.S.). Diagon launched its platform in November 2023 after participating in Techstars and grew to six employees and about a half‑dozen customers, including Mitra Chem, Zeno Power and Mighty Buildings. The company is initially deploying its software as a pilot with professional services customers and plans a broader release in the summer. It is developing tools to help customers find suppliers and interpret and summarize quotes. Diagon recently raised funding that the company says provides runway for roughly two years and will enable hiring for product and go‑to‑market roles.

  • MAVI.io

    Participated · Seed · Mar 2024

Mavi builds OnMyWay, an in-car retail marketplace embedded into vehicle dashboards that lets users discover, order, pay, and pick up from curated retailers and restaurants. The platform is delivered via partnerships with automakers and can be pushed to cars through software updates; deployments include Stellantis, Audi, and Volvo. In April the company plans rollouts reaching 20 million cars and 200,000 long-haul trucks. Mavi’s product is fully automated from recommendations to payment and curbside pickup, and targets retailers seeking to recapture on-the-go commerce. CEO and founder Cynthia Hollen has over two decades of retail and eCommerce leadership; GOVO general partner Jonathan Kilman will join Mavi’s board. The company currently has a 14-person team and plans to hire four more, focusing on Miami hires in marketing, product, and restaurant tech sales. Mavi will use the new capital for product and business development. Mavi.io builds MAVI, an in-car retail marketplace that brings curated shopping, ordering, payment and curbside pickup to connected car dashboards. The MAVI OnMyWay™ solution connects the car’s interface and data to retailers’ e-commerce platforms while accounting for inventory, driver location, route, destination, payment preferences and loyalty memberships. Drivers can use MAVI for hands-free or dashboard ordering of coffee, meals, groceries and need-it-now items, and to coordinate services like dry cleaning and parking. The platform orchestrates recommendations, ordering, payment confirmation and timely curbside pickup, telling drivers where to park and notifying staff to deliver orders right to the car. MAVI will be available via the HARMAN Ignite Store beginning in mid-2022 and is running retail brand pilots with BurgerFi and Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza & Wings, with more partnerships to be announced in Q2. In 2021 Mavi.io was founded and the company emphasizes that its service can reduce trips and associated congestion, packaging and fuel compared with home delivery.
