- Revv
Participated · Seed · Oct 2023
Revv provides AI-driven software that integrates with existing shop workflows to reduce the time and complexity of ADAS calibrations for auto repair shops and dealerships. The company was founded in 2022 and is led by CEO Adi Bathla. Revv has focused recent efforts on scaling its AI capabilities and expanding across North America. The recent $33 million in funding supported product development, hiring of senior talent, and go-to-market optimization. Those efforts reportedly cut the sales cycle from 21 days to under five and improved payback periods, enabling faster customer onboarding and growth.
- Anyplace
Participated · Series B · Oct 2023
Anyplace pivoted from a 30-plus-day marketplace into an operator model called Anyplace Select that provides furnished apartments with a fully equipped home office and high-speed internet. The company leases unfurnished units in bulk from large real estate firms such as Greystar, Avalon Bay and UDR, then furnishes and outfits them for remote-work stays. Anyplace manages more than 100 units across New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego, with annual occupancy averaging 80–85% and a typical markup around 50%. Revenue is up 6x since January 2022, and the team is roughly 30 people. The startup plans market expansion in Q4 into Miami, Boston, Austin and Seattle, to add local concierge touches (coffee beans, local recommendations) and to offer customers the option to purchase furniture or office setups via partner brands. Anyplace stopped operating its marketplace in December 2022 to focus solely on the operator model. Anyplace began in 2017 as a marketplace for 30+ day stays and has expanded into operating furnished apartments optimized for remote work via its Anyplace Select product. The company’s marketplace spans over 60 countries and more than 450 cities, and Select launched last year in San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles and San Diego. Anyplace partners with real estate developers such as Greystar and AvalonBay to rent, furnish and master-lease units, equipping each apartment with a full home-office setup. The Select offering reached a $1 million run rate within seven months of launch, with monthly revenue growth averaging over 50% and occupancy above 90% as of this month. Anyplace plans to aggressively expand inventory into additional U.S. cities, targeting vacation destinations like Hawaii, Miami, Austin and Denver. The company had 17 employees at the time of the report. Anyplace operates an online marketplace that lets users rent furnished hotel rooms, apartments and co-living units on a month-to-month basis. The company negotiates 30–50% discounts with hotels and collects a 10% commission on bookings while performing basic background checks for property owners. Anyplace does not operate properties itself; it partners with hotels, apartments and co-living companies to drive additional monthly revenue for hosts. The founder, CEO Satoru Steve Naito, created the service to meet the needs of digital nomads and similar temporary renters. The startup reported about 100 people currently staying in Anyplace properties and generated $1.3 million in bookings last year. Product plans mentioned include an eviction-insurance product covering up to $10,000, a “nomad loyalty program,” and an online community for frequent users.
- Novig
Participated · Seed · Aug 2023
Novig operates an order-book–based, commission-free sports trading platform that matches bettors directly against one another, eliminating the traditional sportsbook ‘vig.’ The exchange targets serious sports traders by providing transparent, market-driven odds and advanced trading tools. In 2025 the company posted a 10× surge in trading volume, and its annualized volume now exceeds $4 billion. Novig is seeking a Commodity Futures Trading Commission Designated Contract Market (DCM) license to make the platform accessible in all 50 U.S. states. The fresh capital will fund product expansion into additional markets, deeper liquidity, and first-of-its-kind functionality that blends financial-market innovation with live sports. Management is also onboarding institutional liquidity providers and has grown the team to over 50 employees to support these initiatives.
- UpCodes
Participated · Series A · May 2023
UpCodes operates a searchable database of building codes and local amendments and offers tools such as code search, a code-check feature, and a new AI assistant called Copilot. Copilot, built on ChatGPT-4, answers jurisdiction-specific code questions, cites relevant code sections, and can generate checklists and calculations for compliance tasks. The platform hosts more than five million code sections and 160,000 local amendments, updating roughly 7,000 items per month. UpCodes reports more than 650,000 monthly active users and over 100 million page views; since 2021 its team has doubled and revenue has quadrupled. The company offers limited Copilot access on paid plans (three questions) with unlimited access available on UpCodes Professional or Enterprise add-ons. Future plans include hiring across engineering and other departments, expanding the code library, adding more AI features, and developing additional capabilities like project management. UpCodes offers a searchable building-code database with collaboration tools and automated compliance features. It launched UpCodes AI to scan 3D models using BIM data and alert architects to potential issues, and recently introduced a code calculator that answers common compliance questions for more than 40 states. The product serves about 500,000 monthly active users and paid customers including construction firms (Stantec, ARCO National), architecture firms (SOM, Ennead), Airbnb, Cornell University and SUNY. The company targets both industry professionals and lay users (homeowners, landlords, tenants, plumbers, electricians) who need straightforward compliance answers. UpCodes plans to use new funding to hire and accelerate feature development, including automating calculations and expanding access on mobile. The company has also been involved in litigation with the International Code Council; it won a dismissal of a false-advertising and unfair-competition claim and earlier secured a favorable ruling on posting codes as public domain/fair use while a copyright suit remains ongoing. UpCodes builds a searchable, constantly updated database of building regulations and has launched UpCodes AI, a plugin that uses artificial intelligence (including natural language processing) to scan BIM 3D models for code violations. The AI plugin currently supports recent versions of Autodesk Revit and the company plans to add ARCHICAD, SketchUp and IFC support in the future. UpCodes’ database draws directly from municipal regulations and is updated almost in real time, helping architects avoid costly rework caused by missed amendments. The company reports over 100,000 monthly active users and coverage of building codes in 26 states plus the District of Columbia. During private beta, UpCodes AI identified an average of about 27 violations per project. Founded in 2016 by Scott and Garrett Reynolds, the team recently hired Mark Vulfson as UpCodes AI’s technical lead.
- Snaptrude
Participated · Seed · Jan 2023
Snaptrude offers a modern, cloud-based software suite for architects, designers, developers and contractors to design and build buildings in a collaborative, interoperable environment in real time. The platform functions as an operating system for design and construction workflows, processing files from Revit, Rhino, SketchUp or PDFs and exporting to Revit without data loss. Snaptrude launched its platform out of beta earlier this year after testing with thousands of users and has grown its user base from over 6,000 to more than 20,000 across 30+ countries. It operates a freemium model and counts early enterprise customers including Hines, WeWork and Square Yards, and has expanded to a few dozen enterprise accounts. The company is adding a Sketch to BIM feature and AI integrations using base models such as LLaMAs and GPTs to surface firms' legacy knowledge while ensuring data privacy. Snaptrude plans to grow its product and engineering teams (currently 53 employees) and expand its go-to-market efforts and presence in the U.S., U.K. and Europe. Snaptrude provides a cloud-native, browser-based 3D design tool for the AEC (architecture, engineering and construction) industry that enables real-time collaboration similar to Google Docs. The platform supports common file formats (DWG, RVT, IFC, SKP, FBX, PDF, OBJ), offers a freemium model, and generates real-time data on cost, climate and energy impacts as designs change. The company positions itself as a modern alternative to legacy BIM solutions like Autodesk Revit, targeting interoperability and lower hardware requirements. Snaptrude began as a prototype in 2017 and received initial funding of $1.2M in early 2018 to build the team and product. It has attracted over 6,000 customers across more than 30 countries and operates with a globally distributed workforce of 35, including geometry engineers and mathematicians. The startup plans to use recent funds for product enhancements, modest engineering hires, and broader market growth.
