Dipat, founded by Dr. med. Paul Brandenburg, is a Berlin-based e-health startup. It offers a full digital service for living wills and other medical emergency data, including appointment of a legal representative for health care and appointment of a health care proxy. The platform stores organ donation details, contact data of next of kin, preexisting conditions and medication. Its service includes continuous updates of all documents, availability for doctors at any time, and notification of contacts in an emergency. Dipat raised €2m in a Series A round and intends to use the funds to expand its service with the target of becoming the market leader in Germany.
