Dowsure (豆沙包) operates a digital API platform serving cross-border e‑commerce sellers. In 2017 it pioneered cross-border e‑commerce insurance in China, and in 2019 it launched digital financial products with banks using its API technology, models, and algorithms. Over years in the sector it has accumulated cross-border scenario understanding, system implementation capabilities, and risk‑control technology output. On July 19 the company completed a B3 financing round totaling several tens of millions of RMB. The financing came from the Service Trade Innovation Development Guidance Fund. Dowsure says it will use technology‑driven product innovation to empower domestic and foreign financial institutions and provide inclusive, reasonable, and convenient financial services to domestic cross‑border e‑commerce SMEs. Dowsure is a Shenzhen-based fintech that provides unified lending experiences and lending technology for cross-platform sellers on marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Shopee, Lazada and Shopify DTC sellers. It serves as Amazon’s lending service provider and has built a proprietary assessment model with data API connectivity and account-locking features. The company works with dozens of Chinese banks to enable pure credit loans based on store data with no collateral, acting as technology and data provider. Its lending technology business has operated for eight months and has facilitated more than CNY 35 billion in GMV for Chinese sellers on the Amazon platform. Dowsure says its assessment model and algorithms can be implemented for other digital assets that have continual online cash flow but are underbanked by traditional financial institutions. Following the $20M Series B, the company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth and expand operations.
