Drive Time Metrics has developed a technology platform that enables monetization of connected car data. The company plans to further develop that technology using proceeds from its recent fundraise. It raised a $2.1 million seed investment to advance the platform. The funding package included a $250,000 commitment from the Slater Technology Fund and additional angel investments. Named angel investors include Street Capital, Sand Hill Angels, and The Valley Fund. Slater’s Thorne Sparkman praised the team and the new platform in announcing the commitment.
