Echo
600 W. Chicago Ave. Suite 200, Chicago, IL, 60654, US
Overview
Echo builds an AI-native operating system layer for cloud workloads by supplying CVE-free container base images that are reconstructed from scratch with only essential components. Proprietary AI agents autonomously research new vulnerabilities, generate patches, and maintain a catalog of more than 600 hardened images, allowing a 35-person team to cover work that would traditionally require hundreds of engineers. Enterprises such as Varonis, EDB, and UiPath already run production workloads on Echo images, gaining drop-in replacements for standard Docker assets that typically carry thousands of vulnerabilities. The founders, Eilon Elhadad and Eylam Milner, previously sold supply-chain-security startup Argon to Aqua Security for $100 million and have roots in Israel’s elite Unit 8200. Echo positions its platform as the secure foundation for the growing wave of AI-generated code and the accelerating AI-driven threat landscape. To date, the company has raised $50 million in venture funding, most recently adding a $35 million Series A round. The company operates out of New York and intends to scale its secure-by-design image catalog and expand enterprise adoption.
