Eclipsebio is an RNA genomics company focused on developing technologies to enable effective development of RNA therapeutics. Led by CEO Peter Chu, the company offers end-to-end RNA genomics products as services and kits and provides custom RNA genomics services for select partners. The company intends to use new funding to expand its suite of RNA genomics technologies and products. Earlier in the year Eclipsebio relocated into an 18,000-square-foot corporate and research headquarters in Sorrento Valley, San Diego. In the new location it will expand its team of molecular biologists, bioinformatics scientists and its commercial group to support growth through increased awareness, education, and client-facing functions. The company also announced the appointment of Hallie Kuhn to its board; Daniel Vasella, M.D., and the cofounders serve as board members.
