P.O. Box 1355, Bat-Hefer, Tel Aviv, 4284200, Israel
Overview
Ecoppia develops cloud-based, water-free, autonomous robotic systems that clean dust from solar panels daily using machine learning and IoT. Its platform is remotely managed and designed to maintain peak solar-site performance while minimizing O&M costs and human intervention. Ecoppia’s solutions are field-proven and deployed globally across utility-scale sites, and the company reports over 17GW of secured projects. Despite COVID-19 headwinds, Ecoppia secured more than 10GW of new projects in the last three quarters and has maintained a CAGR of over 200% in the past six years. Its customer base includes tier-1 energy companies such as ENGIE, EDF, Fortum, Actis and Brookfield. The company highlights proprietary algorithms and data-analysis capabilities as part of a roadmap toward fully data-driven, automation-based solar O&M and geographic expansion. Ecoppia develops cloud-based, waterless cleaning robots that remove dust from solar modules, using advanced data analysis and machine learning. The company sells automated, waterless cleaning systems designed to reduce soiling-related losses, particularly in water-scarce regions. Its pipeline was expected to top 2GW in 2018, and it says it has experience cleaning over 200 million solar panels worldwide. Ecoppia reports revenue growth of more than 1,600% over the past four years and describes itself as the fastest-growing cleantech company in Israel. The firm has deployed E4 cleaning robots at a 40MW plant on the Israel–Jordan border and agreed to provide systems to Solairedirect India for the Bhadla Solar Park. It plans to use new funding to meet sharp product demand, expand into new geographies, and launch new products.
