Edgify
307 Euston Road, London, NW1 3AD, United Kingdom
Overview
Edgify is an edge AI company whose distributed learning framework trains and runs computer-vision models directly on devices a retailer already owns, so transaction data never has to leave the store. The company operated as Pixoneye, analysing consumer smartphone photo galleries for predictive marketing, before shifting from consumer applications to business use cases; the registered entity behind both names is Edgify AI Ltd., incorporated in December 2014. Its products identify barcode-less items such as fresh produce at self-checkouts and scales, and detect scan avoidance and barcode switching as transactions happen. Edgify reports deployment across 2,042 stores and 9,437 devices, trained on more than 400 million samples at 98.58% precision. The company plans to accelerate rollout across physical retail and extend the platform into transportation, logistics, manufacturing, and other industries. Headquartered in London and founded by Ofri Ben-Porat and Nadav Tal-Israel, Edgify states it has raised $25M to date.
