Enatom
Atoomweg 2H, Groningen, 9743 AK, The Netherlands
Overview
Enatom develops photorealistic 3D holographic models of human anatomy delivered via a mobile app and VR headset, built from photorealistic scans of real human specimens using point-cloud techniques. Its interactive streaming experience is used by universities across six European countries to help students familiarise themselves with anatomical structures before dissection. The technology is positioned as a preparatory educational tool and does not substitute for in-person surgical or dissection training. Enatom was spun out of University Medical Center Groningen, which also provided financial support to the company. The company has previously received funding from G-Force Capital and Triade Investments. The newly raised funds will be used to expand Enatom’s technical and sales teams as it continues to deploy its platform in medical education.
