Encode Club runs hands-on developer programs—coding bootcamps, hackathons, accelerators, workshops and live AMAs—both in-person and online to onboard engineers into Web3. The company educates developers on partner protocols, scouts engineering talent for companies, and provides funding and mentorship to promising startups that emerge from its programs. Encode Club works with many leading protocols (including Algorand, Avalanche, Chainlink, Dfinity, Filecoin, Near, Polkadot, Polygon, Solana, Tezos and The Graph) and offers AMAs with industry leaders. The company says over 15,000 developers took part in its programs last year, and it projected growth to over 100,000 developers in 2022 across more than 100 programs. To date more than 60 now-privately funded companies and protocols have gone through Encode Club’s programmes, including 0xmons, Euler and Reflexer Labs. Founded in 2020 and bootstrapped for two years by Anthony Beaumont and Damir Bandalo, Encode Club intends to scale its global training and onboarding efforts.
