Envolve Tech’s core product is an A.I.-powered Virtual Shopping Assistant (VSA) that operates inside client website chat functions to identify sales opportunities and make intelligent product recommendations using language analysis. The VSA launched in Q4 2019 and has been added to the websites of major retailers in the UK and USA, including Beko, Haynes Manuals, Stila Cosmetics, and The Sak; Tradedoubler added the VSA to its Grow network. The company says it has seen a surge in demand following the online shopping boom during the COVID-19 pandemic. Envolve Tech closed a £720,000 seed funding round to support meeting that demand and to focus on product improvements. Leadership states the new capital provides room to pursue larger retailers and product development in the foreseeable future. The company positions the VSA as a tool to increase sales conversion and lower customer service costs for online retailers.
