Zonova develops Z-ROS®, an antimicrobial additive designed to be engineered directly into the polymers of medical devices to create infection-resistant surfaces. The company's licensing model allows global device manufacturers to integrate Z-ROS® into existing product lines without rebuilding supply chains. Early laboratory studies reported by Zonova show greater than 99.99% effectiveness against MRSA and other organisms commonly involved in hospital-acquired infections. The product is already being used by professional and amateur sports organisations across the UK and Ireland, with strong early results and positive feedback. Founder and CEO Naomi McGregor built the company following a personal injury experience and holds a Masters in Product Design Engineering. Movetru recently closed €1.4M in Pre-Seed funding to scale operations and accelerate a wider commercial rollout.
