Overview

SyndicateRoom is fintech company made up of data-scientists, investment professionals, software developers and marketers with one mission: to be an early investor in every British startup success story. To do this – and make fund investors money – we don’t try to spot the next Big Thing. Instead, we apply a data-driven model to portfolio construction; a repeatable process designed to maximise returns and minimise risk for fund investors. As such, we build startup portfolios that don’t attempt to predict the future; they work to stack the odds in investors’ favour. Our fund, Access EIS, aims to build investors a diversified portfolio of 50+ companies by co‑investing exclusively with some of the UK’s best-performing angel investors.

  • TOSS

    Participated · Seed · Aug 2026

Founded and launched in December 2025, TOSS offers a range of vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free salad dressings sweetened naturally and made without preservatives. The initial lineup launched with four flavours—Green Goddess, Sweet Tahini Chick, Miso Magic and Viva La Vinaigrette—and has since added a fifth, King Caesar. The brand positions its dressings for multiple uses beyond salads, including dipping, drizzling, marinating, dunking and spreading. TOSS is currently stocked in a number of independent UK retailers and is planning a wider retail rollout as it scales. The company raised a seed round backed by a mix of institutional and angel investors to fund retail expansion, supply-chain development, and further brand and product work.

  • Joyvié Health

    Participated · Seed · Jun 2026

Joyvié Health has developed continence underwear designed to contain stool in a disposable pouch immediately after excretion, which the company says significantly reduces stool-to-skin contact and speeds changes. Early testing reported approximately a 90% reduction in stool-to-skin contact and roughly 70% faster change times. The company frames its product as addressing faecal incontinence, a condition estimated to affect 656 million people globally and often linked to cancer, dementia, MS, Parkinson’s, spinal injury or ageing. Joyvié was founded by Zoe Robson after a family caregiving experience in 2025 and intends to run pilots across care homes, hospitals and domiciliary settings to collect clinical and health-economics data. Planned near-term activities include a direct-to-consumer launch later this year, publishing white papers, forming strategic partnerships and making first hires. The company also highlights disparities in funding for women’s health and female founders as part of its market-context narrative.

  • ManaMind

    Participated · Seed · Apr 2026

ManaMind develops autonomous AI agents that continuously play through games to detect bugs, generate actionable reports, and automate repetitive QA tasks. The company has built proprietary visual models tailored for virtual environments and positions gaming as its launch market. ManaMind has formed design partnerships with Included Games and Crazy Labs, indicating early commercial traction. The founders are Emil Kostadinov and Sabtain Ahmad and the company is based in London. ManaMind plans to expand its technical team and accelerate model development with proceeds from its $1.5M pre-seed round. Over time the company intends to broaden its autonomous testing layer beyond games into other software and robotics applications.

  • UrFuture

    Participated · Seed · Apr 2026

Urfuture develops a social-first hiring platform that replaces traditional CV screening by using behavioural science and AI-driven matching to connect Gen Z entry-level candidates with employers. Founded in 2023 by Tom Keighley, Jayel Williams and Holly Hobbs, the app launched in late 2025 and has been downloaded over 50,000 times and seen more than 160 million social views. The platform has gathered 2.4 million behavioural data points to refine its matching engine and is used by employers including Tesco, British Airways, West Midlands Police and Scottish Power Electricity North West. Early outcomes reported include notable improvements in candidate diversity for clients (one employer saw diverse applicants rise from 8% to 47%). With £1.7M in seed funding, Urfuture plans to launch a white-label behavioural profiling and screening tool, roll out a self-serve product for SMEs, and grow its sales, marketing and engineering teams to scale adoption.

  • DataWollet

    Participated · Seed · Mar 2026

DataWollet positions itself as the UK’s first full-spectrum Open Finance platform, tackling the fragmentation of customer data, manual compliance workflows and friction-filled user journeys that persist across financial services. Its core product offers a single API gateway that instantly aggregates consumer financial data, extending the capabilities of traditional open-banking solutions into broader open-finance use cases. The platform is powered by proprietary neuro-symbolic AI, which blends machine-learning with transparent reasoning to deliver actionable insights while maintaining regulatory clarity. Early traction and the breadth of potential applications were cited by investors as key validation points. Fresh capital will be channelled into accelerating commercial expansion, deepening strategic partnerships, and advancing the underlying AI technology. Founder Jen Lothian emphasises that the funding will “supercharge” product development and support a go-to-market push. Public figures, including the UK Secretary of State for Wales, have highlighted the company’s role in bolstering the region’s fintech and AI sectors.
