  • Unfabled

    Participated · Seed · Feb 2024

Founded in 2021 by Hannah Samano, Unfabled uses a community-driven R&D approach called Unfabled Labs to identify and validate women’s health needs before launching products. Its Essentials supplement line targets issues such as bloating, cramps, low energy, sleep problems, and stress, and has quickly expanded from an initial 50 Boots stores to 737 locations—a more than 1,000% retail footprint increase. The company combines data insights, scientific backing, and lived experience to create products "by women, for women." Direct-to-consumer traction has translated into retail momentum, earning Unfabled a place in Boots’ Ignite accelerator for trending brands. To date, the startup has secured just over €3.3 million in seed funding, 67% of which comes from female investors, reflecting its mission to improve gender representation in both healthcare and venture capital. Unfabled positions itself as a leading voice in the growing European femtech sector, aiming to build a broader category of accessible, consumer-focused women’s health solutions.

  • HacWare

    Participated · Seed · Apr 2022

HacWare offers a service that integrates with Google Workspace and Office 365 to automate phishing simulations, deliver cybersecurity training, and coach employees to spot inbox-based threats. The product emphasizes adaptive, low-friction training designed not to disrupt day-to-day work and includes an API and developer network for integrations with internal apps and HR platforms. Founder Tiffany Ricks, a former ethical hacker, grew the product by reinvesting revenues and committing to rapid feature releases. HacWare paused its earlier seed raise after appearing at TechCrunch Battlefield in 2020 and refocused on product development. The company plans to use new funding to expand its engineering and sales teams and broaden its developer network to ease integrations. The goal is to reduce identity theft and phishing risk for distributed and global workforces.
