- Neurosoft Bioelectronics
Participated · Seed · May 2026
Neurosoft Bioelectronics develops a platform of minimally invasive brain-computer interfaces intended to access the full cortex without penetrating brain tissue using proprietary soft and stretchable electrodes. The company’s technology is engineered to be significantly more compliant than conventional neural interfaces to enable broader cortical coverage via minimally invasive procedures. Neurosoft has tested its devices in 10 patients across two ongoing clinical trials at UTHealth Houston and UMC Utrecht, including a 64-channel soft brain interface study for epilepsy surgery guidance. Its IP and scientific footprint include more than 25 patents and over 25 peer-reviewed publications. The firm aims to build a large-scale neural data platform to support foundation models of the human cortex and to improve performance of invasive and non-invasive BCIs. With over $20 million raised to date, Neurosoft plans to use new funding to advance clinical demonstrations and move toward U.S. commercialization of its first brain interface product.
- Tamber
Participated · Equity · Apr 2026
Tamber builds assistive, non-generative AI tools for music creation that integrate directly with digital audio workstations (DAWs). Its platform uses sonic intelligence to translate text, voice, and gesture into real-time creative controls for discovering sounds and shaping parameters without interrupting workflow. The company maintains a global sound library powered by original recordings to expand access to culturally diverse material. Tamber positions its tools to help musicians and producers move more fluidly from idea to execution. The company is led by founder Zoe Wrenn and is based in Los Angeles, California. Recent funding will support the launch and further development of its creative suite and AI-powered music-production tooling.
- Xscape Photonics
Participated · Series A · Mar 2026
Founded in 2022, Santa Clara–based Xscape Photonics designs photonic hardware that moves data within AI data centers at far higher speeds and lower power than traditional copper interconnects. Its first commercial product, FalconX, is an External Laser Small Form-factor Pluggable (ELSFP) module that emits eight independent wavelengths of light, delivering more than one watt of optical power for multi-terabit bandwidth and built-in redundancy demanded by hyperscale AI clusters. The company’s proprietary CombX technology underpins FalconX and the broader ChromX roadmap, which targets 16, 32, and ultimately 128+ color wavelength-division-multiplexing fabric platforms. By enabling the entire data center to function “as one giant GPU,” the solution aims to unlock unused GPU capacity and cut networking failures by an order of magnitude. Xscape Photonics has attracted nearly $95 million in total funding and has more than doubled its valuation since the latest raise. Key technical founders hail from Columbia University, and the firm is rapidly expanding its engineering team to commercialize the ChromX platform.
- Cognito Therapeutics
Led · Series C · Mar 2026
Cognito Therapeutics is a clinical-stage neurotechnology firm focused on creating neuroprotective, non-invasive therapies for central nervous system disorders. Its lead product, Spectris, is an at-home therapeutic platform that delivers sensory-driven neurostimulation to synchronize neural activity across interconnected brain networks. Feasibility studies indicate Spectris may preserve cognition, maintain daily function, and slow brain atrophy in patients with mild-to-moderate Alzheimer’s disease. The company plans to expand the Spectris platform into additional neurodegenerative indications through a network of brain-health collaboratories, beginning with the WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute. Proceeds from its latest financing will fund these clinical expansions and further platform development. Although specific revenue or user numbers were not disclosed, the company positions itself as a late clinical-stage player nearing pivotal trials.
- Pharaoh Neuro
Participated · Series A · Feb 2026
Minneapolis-based Pharaoh Neuro is a medical device company advancing two key technologies: the Neurapheresis cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) management system and the MindsEye expandable port for minimally invasive cranial access. Neurapheresis is a closed-loop platform that circulates and filters a patient’s own CSF without introducing replacement fluids, aiming to reduce complications and give clinicians greater control in treating critically ill neurological patients. MindsEye, first cleared by the FDA in 2020 while under Minnetronix Medical, is being prepared for reintroduction to the U.S. market under Pharaoh Neuro’s stewardship. The company recently appointed Amaza Reitmeier, former VP & GM of Neuromodulation at Medtronic, as CEO, and Dr. Nandan Lad, the inventor of the core technology, as chief medical officer. With its newly raised funds, Pharaoh Neuro plans to pursue further development and regulatory clearance for Neurapheresis and to relaunch MindsEye. The leadership’s stated goal is to reshape the standard of neurocritical care through evidence-based clinical introduction of its platform.
