  • Form Energy

    Participated · Series G · Aug 2026

Form Energy develops iron-air long-duration batteries capable of delivering up to 100 hours of discharge. Its chemistry relies on iron oxidation and reduction, enabling lower-cost storage by avoiding higher-priced minerals like lithium, cobalt, and nickel. The company has secured large commercial customers including Google, Crusoe, Xcel Energy, and FuturEnergy Ireland and reports a commercial project backlog of about 80 gigawatt-hours. About 80% of the company’s materials supply is sourced from the U.S., with the remainder from Europe and Asia. Form is expanding manufacturing capacity in West Virginia following its recent financing. The company’s positioning and technology aim to address growing demand for long-duration storage as U.S. electricity demand rises and renewable generation expands.

  • Superlight

    Led · Series A · Jun 2026

Superlight produces a purpose-built middle-mile commercial EV platform led by its OV-1 vehicle, which the company says is modular and customizable. The company claims its vehicles deliver 50% more cargo capacity and 50% lower energy expense than 7.5-tonne truck competitors, and generate 73% energy cost savings per pallet per kilometer. Superlight operates a digital-first, AI-native production system that includes SuperVisor, a factory digital twin for real-time shopfloor monitoring and quality prediction, and an Autonomous Logistics & Integrated Service that uses vehicle and fleet sensor data for proactive maintenance and optimization. The company has accrued more than 500,000 kilometers of powertrain mileage and conducted commercial pilots of OV-1 in the U.K. with major e-commerce and ground handling providers. Superlight reports integrating more than 70 proprietary inventions across design, materials, software and battery technology, and is led by founders Noamaan and Sheban Siddiqi.

  • Foundation Alloy

    Participated · Series A · Jun 2026

Foundation Alloy commercializes a solid-state alloying technique that repeatedly smashes metal powders together to create homogeneous alloys that traditional melting processes cannot achieve. The process reportedly uses around an order of magnitude less energy than conventional melting-based alloying and enables combinations of elements with very different melting points. The company has been selling bespoke metals in small batches and is running pilots with customers in automotive, aerospace, semiconductor, defense, luxury watches, and cutlery. Early commercial products include tooling parts for automakers and parts targeted at drone supply chains within defense. Foundation Alloy says it is currently constrained by production capacity rather than demand and plans to scale to several tons per week by 2027 using proceeds from its Series A. Its technology builds on about 20 years of research led by Tim Rupert and Chris Schuh, and the company is led by CEO and co-founder Jake Guglin.

  • Blue Energy

    Participated · Equity · Apr 2026

Blue Energy develops financeable, turnkey nuclear power plants built with offsite prefabrication and standardized delivery compatible with leading reactor technologies. The company plans to compress construction timelines to as little as 48 months and deliver plants designed to be project‑financeable. Blue Energy expects to begin construction on its first Texas project in Q3 2026, a plant designed to provide up to 1.5 GW of power. The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission recently approved its phased construction approach that initially energizes turbines with natural gas before conversion to nuclear. Founded in 2023 and based in Chevy Chase, Md., Blue Energy is backed by VXI Capital, Engine Ventures, At One Ventures, and Tamarack Global and recently raised $380 million to fund long‑lead equipment procurement, project development, and corporate growth.

  • Terrestrial Bio

    Participated · Series C · Mar 2026

Terrestrial Bio (formerly Vaxess Technologies) is advancing a proprietary microarray patch (MAP) and preloaded applicator platform that applies a patch resembling an adhesive bandage and releases bioactive tips into the skin which dissolve and rapidly deliver their payload. The MAP platform is designed for self-administration, is temperature-stable, and eliminates the need for medical sharps or refrigeration. The company positions the technology for precise, controlled delivery of a wide range of therapeutics. Terrestrial is led by CEO Rachel Sha and is based in Woburn, MA. To support late-stage clinical development and early commercial entry, the company signed a lease for a more than 40,000-square-foot manufacturing facility at Allston Labworks and plans to incorporate automation, robotics, computer vision, and quality-control processes during buildout beginning in 2026.
