Overview

ARM Holdings is a provider of silicon IP and custom SoCs at the heart of billions of devices. Its business model involves designing and licensing of IP rather than manufacturing and selling of actual semiconductor chips. They license IP to a network of partners and these partners utilize ARM IP designs to create and manufacture system-on-chip designs. In addition to processor IP, they provide a range of tools, physical and systems IP to enable optimized system-on-chip designs.

  • Olix

    Participated · Series B · Aug 2026

Founded in London by James Dacombe in 2024, Olix develops the X-1 platform that distributes AI model workloads across specialised chips connected by an optical interconnect. Its first chip, the DX-1, is a decode accelerator that the company claims can deliver over 10,000 tokens per second per user on 100-billion-parameter models while using less power for large batches, and is designed to scale to models with trillions of parameters. Olix has over 140 employees across London, Bristol, Toronto, Austin and San Francisco. The company plans to launch DX-1 to initial customers in the second half of 2027 and to ramp platform development and chip manufacturing with the new funding. Olix has rapidly increased its valuation through multiple funding rounds, most recently reaching $3.3 billion after the $312 million raise, up from just over $1 billion in February. The AI chip market in which Olix competes was valued at about $84 billion in 2026 and is expected to grow rapidly through 2030.

  • Wayve

    Participated · Series D · Apr 2026

Wayve builds an end-to-end neural network-based self-driving system that uses raw data from whatever sensors are on a vehicle rather than relying on specific sensors, chips, or high-definition maps. Its software underpins two commercial products: an "eyes on" assisted-driving system requiring driver attention, and an "eyes off" fully automated-driving system intended for robotaxis and some consumer scenarios. The company sells directly to automakers and has landed customers including Nissan, Mercedes-Benz, and Stellantis, with Nissan planning integration into ADAS from 2027. Wayve’s software is designed to run on a variety of automotive compute platforms, a capability it is expanding through strategic investments from chipmakers. Financially, Wayve recently closed a $1.2 billion Series D and announced a $60 million extension from semiconductor partners, with an additional $300 million milestone-based commitment from Uber. The company is using new funds to support integration across compute platforms and continued production deployment of the Wayve AI Driver.

  • Positron

    Participated · Series B · Feb 2026

Founded in 2023 and based in Reno, Nevada, Positron develops energy-efficient AI inference hardware, including its shipped Atlas inference system. Atlas has already been delivered to customers such as Cloudflare, and the company claims its hardware can deliver more than 3.5x performance per watt versus Nvidia's latest products on certain inference workloads. Positron is developing a next-generation chip called Asimov, targeting tape-out in late 2026 and production in early 2027. The company emphasizes U.S. manufacturing and energy efficiency as core differentiators. Positron has raised roughly $309 million to date, including a $230 million Series B in February 2026 that valued the company above $1 billion. CEO Mitesh Agrawal has led the company since before its seed round.

  • Eliyan

    Participated · Equity · Jan 2026

Eliyan develops advanced connectivity technologies including silicon-proven NuLink™ PHYs and NuGear™ chiplet families that target I/O, memory-expansion and power-efficiency challenges in modern compute infrastructure. The company is expanding into optical interconnect to complement its existing electrical interconnect portfolio and to support heterogeneous, co-packaged, and bandwidth-intensive compute fabrics. Eliyan positions its platform to span intra-package electrical interconnects through system-level optical fabrics for scale-up and scale-in AI networks. The company is led by CEO and Co-Founder Ramin Farjadrad and is based in Santa Clara, California. Financially, Eliyan raised $145 million in a Series C at a $1 billion valuation. It plans to use the new capital to accelerate product and interconnect development, broaden ecosystem partnerships, and scale manufacturing.

  • Rebellions

    Participated · Series C · Sep 2025

Founded in 2020, Rebellions designs AI chips focused on inference workloads and outsources manufacturing. The company has released AI infrastructure products named RebelRack and RebelPOD, described as production-ready and scalable inference units. Rebellions has raised $850 million to date and is valued at approximately $2.34 billion after the latest $400 million pre-IPO round. It closed a $124 million Series B in 2024 and a $250 million Series C in November prior to this round. The startup is pursuing aggressive international expansion, having established entities in the U.S., Japan, Saudi Arabia, and Taiwan and aiming to build partner ecosystems with cloud providers, government agencies, telecom operators, and Neoclouds. Management has indicated the company is preparing for an IPO later this year while scaling commercial deployments of its inference infrastructure.
