Gigi Supplements was founded by Jennie Haire and Lisa Hughes, who draw on their experience as nutritional therapists to formulate supplements targeting women's hormonal health. The company describes itself as a premium, science-backed brand in a high-growth women's health category. It has just completed an oversubscribed €1.5 million Seed round led by Vestra Partners with support from Enterprise Ireland, AwakenAngels and private investors. Gigi plans to use the new capital to launch multiple new products and to expand into the UK. The raise represents the company’s first institutional funding and comes as the founders aim to scale distribution and product development. Movetru’s flagship product is a wearable device paired with an AI-powered app that provides real-time biomechanical insights for on-field, gym and rehab use. The system is designed to give coaches and clinicians actionable movement data to assess performance and injury risk. The product is already being used by professional and amateur sports organisations across the UK and Ireland, with strong early results and positive feedback. Founder and CEO Naomi McGregor built the company following a personal injury experience and holds a Masters in Product Design Engineering. Movetru recently closed €1.4M in Pre-Seed funding to scale operations and accelerate a wider commercial rollout. Athletes and coaches can book on-field screenings and pre-order devices via the company website as part of its commercialization push.
