Led by CEO Andrew Carroll, eReceipts offers a web and mobile application that stores customers' receipts in the cloud and enables them to demand discounts from retailers. Receipts are created and collected directly from retailers' point-of-sale systems. The company has signed up more than 110 independent stores and secured its first multiple with DFS. Its technology is being deployed in one of the UK’s leading supermarkets, with a roll-out scheduled for April 2013. eReceipts aims to simplify managing, storing and retrieving receipts while creating a channel for shopper-retailer engagement. eReceipts is a UK-based provider of a solution to create, collect, store and retrieve digital receipts for proof of purchase and business expense purposes. Its platform ingests receipts from retailers’ EPOS systems, payment gateways and individuals’ mobile devices and stores them in an individual’s web account accessed via login and password. The company recently partnered with IBM Retail to support its offering. Led by CEO Andrew Carroll and with Lord Ian MacLaurin as board chair, eReceipts is positioned with experienced leadership. The company raised £450k in funding from Envestors Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Braveheart (AIM: BRH). eReceipts intends to use the funding to focus on building the business.
