Esensi Solusi Buana (ESB) is an Indonesia-based end-to-end SaaS platform for F&B businesses that provides a cloud-based mobile ordering system, kitchen management, and enterprise resource pricing integrations. Its mobile ordering system syncs automatically with restaurants’ POS and other back-end systems to reduce manual inefficiencies. ESB launched delivery and contactless dining solutions during COVID-19 to let restaurants deliver independently and avoid commission fees from delivery platforms. The startup says over 90% of its merchants continue to use its system and that it generated the equivalent of over 20 million annual orders for customers within six months of launch. ESB plans to use the Series A proceeds to introduce new features to its technology stack and expand partnerships with restaurants, aiming to emulate the path of U.S. rival Toast.
