Etix Everywhere (now branded simply as Etix) builds and operates edge data centers, offering colocation capacity close to end users. The company currently manages 14 sites across France and Belgium with a combined deployed capacity of 8.1 MW. Its strategy is to consolidate its French footprint while entering additional European markets to create a broader regional network for enterprise and cloud customers. Financially, the firm just secured a large refinancing facility to accelerate this rollout and strengthen its balance sheet. The transaction follows a string of ownership changes: Vantage acquired most of Etix’s hyperscale assets, Global Data Centre Group bought the remainder in 2020, Eurazeo invested $46.8 million in 2022, and Infranity acquired GDCG’s stake in 2023. These moves, together with the new financing, position Etix to scale its data-center fleet rapidly and pursue a larger share of Europe’s edge-colocation market.
