Exosect develops environmentally-friendly pest control products aimed at growers, food manufacturers and processors to help reduce pesticide use. The company is currently launching a moth control product for the food production sector. It plans a European rollout initially in Germany, France, Holland and Italy in Spring 2010 and aims to bring new products to market across the UK, Europe and the US. Recently it raised new funding to support these go-to-market plans. The round was led by MTI Partners via its UPF fund, which committed £1m, and saw existing investors reinvest. In the last two years, funds invested in the company have exceeded £5m.
