Founded in 2004 by Dr. Conor MacCormack, the company operates internationally from offices in Ireland, the UK and the US and is based in County Louth, Ireland. It reported continued phenomenal growth during the past year, with increases of 227% in the sales and distribution channel and 308% in sales of its printers. The company raised $12m in growth capital in a round led by Wheb. Mcor intends to use the funds to expand globally.

CEO and founder Juergen Eichner said the company looks forward to working with WHEB as it grows the organisation and expands its global operations.

The company is currently launching a moth control product for the food production sector. It plans a European rollout initially in Germany, France, Holland and Italy in Spring 2010 and aims to bring new products to market across the UK, Europe and the US. Recently it raised new funding to support these go-to-market plans. The round was led by MTI Partners via its UPF fund, which committed £1m, and saw existing investors reinvest. In the last two years, funds invested in the company have exceeded £5m.
