Exotel said it will use the new funding to boost product offerings and plans to increase headcount by 200 over the next 12 months. Exotel provides a cloud communication / cloud telephony platform offering omnichannel customer communication tools and AI-powered co-pilots for agents and self-serve customers. The product is positioned to enable hyper-personalized interactions, automate repetitive tasks, and improve customer experience and operating costs. The company reports powering 4,000+ organisations and handling roughly 10 million conversations daily, with notable customers including Flipkart, Ola, Swiggy and Zerodha. Exotel says it is the largest and fastest-growing cloud telephony platform in Asia and is seeing adoption across BFSI, Auto and FMCG verticals. The company is profitable and at a USD 25 million top-line run rate. With the new funding it plans accelerated growth and to hire 200+ people in product, engineering and customer-facing roles.
