Expressor Software provides a data integration system used by healthcare, telecommunications, financial services and database marketing organizations. Its customers include American Tower, Integrated DNA Technologies, Moffitt Cancer Center, Sybron Dental Specialties and Viverae. The company secured $4.5M in venture funding to accelerate expansion and fund ongoing operations. Planned uses include extending sales and marketing reach into mid-market accounts with a focus on healthcare informatics and completing development of Expressor 3.0 to improve usability by the end of 2010. The funds will also support building out a developer and business user community and growing its global partner network. Expressor Software builds semantic data integration software. The company said it landed $10 million in a second round of funding led by Commonwealth Capital Ventures. Previous investors Globespan Capital Partners and Sigma Partners also participated in the financing. Expressor said it will use the fresh cash to continue developing its next-generation data integration platform. It also plans to expand marketing, sales, and business development. The funding was announced as the company's second round of financing.
