ExproSoft supplies analyses and software for condition-based and lifecycle evaluations in wells and well equipment for the upstream oil and gas sector. The company offers risk and reliability studies, technology qualification services and related software/database products. The recent capital infusion will be used to further develop its offerings and to become a global independent provider of those services. ExproSoft serves more than 40 major oil and gas companies, including Shell, BP, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Statoil and Total. The company operates from Trondheim and has local offices in Sandnes, Norway and Houston, Texas. Investors Viking Venture and Investinor took a 42.3% stake as part of the investment.
