Overview
Eyeview is a NYC-based video marketing technology company that provides brands with a martech solution to create personalized video ads across multiple platforms. Its platform supports Mobile, Desktop, Addressable TV, ConnectedTV, OTT, Facebook and other social platforms and integrates with marketers' ad-stacks including DMPs, DSPs, CRM, measurement, brand safety and attribution platforms. The platform feeds proprietary data to brands, and Eyeview serves major advertisers including Lowe's, Walgreens, Honda, BMW and Uber. Led by CEO and co-founder Oren Harnevo, the company also has offices in Los Angeles, Detroit and Chicago. In July 2018 Eyeview received $20M in financing comprising equity and debt from current and new investors. The company said it will use the funding to further invest in its proprietary creative technology and data assets and to support continued growth. Eyeview builds outcome-based video marketing technology that delivers 1-to-1 video ads using its proprietary VideoIQ® engine. VideoIQ leverages brand, product and consumer data to make billions of decisions daily and deliver tailored messages across television, desktop, mobile and Facebook. The company serves major brands including P&G, Walgreens, Lowe’s, Honda, BMW and Priceline. Eyeview says it has tripled revenue since its last round while growing headcount by about 20 percent and was ranked the 2nd fastest growing company in the Tri-State Area by Deloitte in 2015. The company will use the new financing to invest in sales, marketing and engineering to further its leadership in outcome-based video marketing. Eyeview is headquartered in New York City with offices in L.A., Detroit, Seattle and Chicago. Eyeview is an NYC-based provider of a personalized online video advertising platform called VideoIQ. VideoIQ uses real-time insights gathered through each stage of the consumer journey and matches each consumer to a personalized brand message. The company is led by co-founder and CEO Oren Harnevo, West Naze (Executive Director of CPG Sales) and Brian Pozesky (Chief Marketing Officer). Eyeview partners with Fortune 500 leaders across Automotive, Retail, CPG, Travel, QSR and Entertainment, including P&G, Land Rover, Lowe’s and Marriott. The company has offices in New York City, Chicago, Detroit and Los Angeles. Eyeview received $15M in financing from existing investor Marker LLC and plans to use the funds to expand regional presences, increase sales and marketing in new shopper marketing and travel verticals, and grow its automotive and retail verticals. Eyeview builds technology that personalizes video ads by producing multiple tailored video versions and delivering the correct version to each viewer. Personalization can be based on location, weather, time of day and updates when information changes such as pricing. The personalization occurs in the video itself rather than via overlays, which enables delivery across devices and requires no integration from publishers. In the cloud the company says it can create hundreds of thousands of videos for use on mobile and connected TV. Eyeview reported revenue grew 6x between 2011 and 2012 and was on track to grow the same amount in 2013, and it works with advertisers including Land Rover, Lowe’s, Toyota, Paramount and Target. The company raised $8.1M in a Series C and plans to use the funding to expand availability across the United States and continue developing the technology; total funding to date is $19.4M. Eyeview creates personalized video ads that generate high-quality, splashy, 3D-rendered creatives and can customize text depending on where the ad is shown. The company’s technology is described as more advanced and better looking than Flash overlays. Eyeview has worked with brands including AT&T, T-Mobile, and McDonalds. CEO Oren Harnevo said the company will use the new funding to grow its reach across audience size and the formats it appears on. In the long term Harnevo envisions IP-enabled televisions delivering similarly personalized ads to individual users, though today all Eyeview ads appear online. The company announced a $5.2 million Series B to support that expansion.
