Family Adventures Group operates soft-play leisure venues and day nurseries, combining childcare provision with family-focused leisure sites. The business currently runs six nursery sites in Cheddar, Worle, Weston-super-Mare, Bridgwater, Taunton and Dudley, plus two leisure venues (Ocean Adventurers in Cheddar and Space Adventurers in Taunton); a third site, Little Town Adventures in Weston-super-Mare, is due to open soon. Founded in 2019 and based in Wedmore, Somerset, the company has expanded under founders Tom and Laura Filer. The group says the recent funding will support a programme of new site openings across the South West and Midlands. As part of the investment the company appointed Jennifer Taylor as chief finance officer and named Ann Elliott as chair. The business plans to use the capital to accelerate growth and address shortages in early years childcare provision in its target regions.
