  • TidalSense

    Participated · Equity · Jul 2026

TidalSense develops an AI-powered diagnostic test, N-Tidal Diagnose, that captures a CO₂ waveform via a handheld device during normal breathing and analyzes it with AI models. The test requires patients to breathe into the device for around 75 seconds and TidalSense says its models have been trained on more than 2.5 million patient breaths. The company states that tests can be performed in under five minutes and that clinicians can see four to six patients an hour versus roughly one per hour with traditional spirometry. TidalSense says any healthcare professional can be trained to use the device in about 10 minutes without specialist qualifications. It launched the test on the NHS last year and plans to scale rollout across the NHS, expand into Europe and enter the US market. The company is led by CEO Dr. Ameera Patel and was founded in 2013.

  • Mach42

    Participated · Series A · Jul 2026

Mach42 leverages advanced machine learning to create high-accuracy surrogate models that accelerate analog and mixed-signal verification and integrate with industry-standard simulators. The company focuses initially on power management devices, where it says its models can reduce development time, lower computational costs, and improve design quality. Its technology can export models automatically in Verilog-A, SystemVerilog, and C/C++ formats for seamless integration into electronic design automation workflows. Mach42 plans to scale engineering and business development teams following its recent £7M pre-Series A raise to drive commercial adoption. The company highlights potential market opportunity across a wide analog chip market and cites existing investor support from BGF, Foresight Group and Parkwalk.

  • Optera

    Participated · Equity · Jun 2026

Optera develops neuromorphic, event-based sensing technology that detects changes in a scene rather than capturing full images continuously, enabling tracking of fast-moving objects while reducing data and power requirements. Its AI-powered systems are designed for space domain awareness and operate in challenging lighting conditions; the company has accumulated multiple years of on-orbit, space-tested experience. Following the £3 million raise, Optera plans to establish a UK headquarters, expand its engineering team, and scale delivery of civil, commercial and defence-related sensing programmes. It is also focused on advancing onboard processing capabilities so intelligence can be generated closer to the sensor. The articles do not provide revenue, user, or valuation metrics.

  • Envoke

    Participated · Seed · May 2026

Envoke builds a virtual simulation platform that creates interactive, digital replicas of complex laboratory machinery to support remote operator onboarding, troubleshooting, and automated competency tracking. Its software has been reported to reduce field technician service call-outs by 15-20%. The company employs 16 people across the UK and US and is on track to surpass £1 million in annual recurring revenue. Envoke has secured major healthcare clients including the Mayo Clinic and Hawaii’s national blood laboratories. Led by Founder and CEO Stuart Warrington, the company plans to use its new funding to expand into the Asia-Pacific market and to hire three to five new software engineering and customer success staff in the UK.

  • Third Space Learning

    Participated · Equity · Apr 2026

Third Space Learning operates a large-scale one-to-one maths tutoring service, reporting support for about 196,000 students across more than 4,200 schools and delivering millions of hours of tutoring. Its spoken AI tutor Skye is built from a decade of tutoring practice and designed around human tutoring techniques such as dialogue, pacing, targeted questioning and ongoing assessment. The company emphasizes an evidence-led approach, using operational data and pedagogical design that underpin its human tutoring service to inform Skye’s development. Third Space Learning has a research partnership funded with $1.9m from the Gates Foundation and run with Stanford University and Cornell University to validate development in US public schools. With the £4.4m growth raise, the company plans to deepen Skye’s capabilities, expand into new subjects and languages, and build a dedicated US function to support international growth.
