The platform focuses on non-perishable food commodities and currently offers ten products including makhana, cashews, almonds, raisins, walnut, quinoa, chia, pista, sunflower seed, and watermelon seeds. TechnifyBiz says it has increased farmers’ profit margins by 200% in about three years and counts customers such as Big Bazaar, Metro Cash & Carry, Reliance Retail, and Haldirams. The company reported a monthly revenue run rate of Rs 10 crore and expects this to reach Rs 75 crore by March 2020, up from Rs 5 crore at the end of March 2019. It plans to expand to 50–60 commodities over the next two years and work with about 100,000 suppliers. TechnifyBiz builds backend supply infrastructure and technology-enabled services to reduce inefficiencies in the agricultural supply chain.
