Founded by Dr Sonam Kothari and Dr Abhishek Sen, Butterfly Learnings plans to expand its centre network beyond Maharashtra and build partnerships with hospitals and paediatricians. The company also intends to strengthen its technology and AI capabilities and scale its therapist training programme.

Founded in 2018 by Gordon Peters and Lucinda Revell and incorporated as Boost Capital PTE. LTD., the company targets microfinance institutions and banks seeking cheaper, faster digital onboarding. Boost plans to use new funding to pursue market expansion, grow its product team, and initiate partnerships with new banks. The company raised a $2.5M seed round in August 2023 to support those efforts.

Farmley raised $42M in a Series C and intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts. Revenue has risen approximately 55% annually over the past two years to reach around $41 million in FY25, and the company has achieved profitability. The fresh capital is aimed at scaling operations and further product and business development. Farmley sells more than 100 nuts and dry-fruit products through e-commerce and fast-commerce platforms and at over 10,000 retail locations in India’s top 50 cities. Founded in 2017 by IIT grads Akash Sharma and Abhishek Agarwal, TechnifyBiz operates a Delhi-based B2B marketplace that connects farmers, SME food processors, and wholesale buyers. The platform focuses on non-perishable food commodities and currently offers ten products including makhana, cashews, almonds, raisins, walnut, quinoa, chia, pista, sunflower seed, and watermelon seeds. TechnifyBiz says it has increased farmers’ profit margins by 200% in about three years and counts customers such as Big Bazaar, Metro Cash & Carry, Reliance Retail, and Haldirams. The company reported a monthly revenue run rate of Rs 10 crore and expects this to reach Rs 75 crore by March 2020, up from Rs 5 crore at the end of March 2019. It plans to expand to 50–60 commodities over the next two years and work with about 100,000 suppliers. TechnifyBiz builds backend supply infrastructure and technology-enabled services to reduce inefficiencies in the agricultural supply chain.

Founded in 2014, the company remained bootstrapped until this fundraise. It also operates an online presence via a mobile application and serves about 6 lakh customers with chronic illnesses in addition to other customers. Medkart plans aggressive expansion, targeting entry into 200 smaller towns across Gujarat and Rajasthan before moving into other markets. Management intends to technologically strengthen the online platform and tightly integrate online and retail channels to deliver an omni-channel experience. The company says the funding will be used to build the infrastructure necessary to support expansion and omni-channel operations.
