Funds will also bolster R&D, grow the core engineering team, and help build intellectual property around proprietary control algorithms. By moving from prototyping to scaled deployments, Welkinrim seeks to become the preferred OEM partner for drone propulsion solutions. No revenue or user metrics were disclosed, but the company positions itself as a key enabler of the rapidly expanding drone ecosystem.

The firm is targeting INR 500 crore in annualised GMV within the next 18–24 months. Funding will be used to strengthen AI-driven personalisation, expand the supplier network, and invest in product innovation to serve the modern Indian traveller.
