Fertifa
7 Savoy Court, London, England, WC2R 0EX, United Kingdom
Overview
Fertifa offers an employer-facing platform and app that provides reproductive health and fertility benefits, including fertility preservation (egg/embryo/sperm freezing), IVF/IUI/ICSI, contraception, surrogacy, adoption, menopause, endometriosis, PCOS, fibroids, STI care and men’s sexual health. The company combines educational resources, an in-house clinical team led by medical director Dr. Gidon Lieberman, prescription writing and fulfillment, and reimbursement administration. Fertifa monetizes through a per-employee-per-month pricing model and charges a 5% fee on transaction volume with an annual minimum for reimbursement administration. The startup says it increased revenues 10x year-over-year, has saved patients more than £1.5 million via employer-funded allowances and saved employers about £250,000 in compliance by identifying ineligible claims. Fertifa works with clients including Lululemon, Meta, Bain Capital and Virgin and currently has 22 employees. The company plans to launch new services such as treatment financing, scale up enterprise sales, become the U.K. market leader within a year and the EMEA category leader by the end of 2024. Fertifa operates a next-generation digital fertility clinic and employee benefits portal that combines at-home diagnostic testing, remote video consultations, medication delivery, and employer-facing educational resources. The platform is used to deliver fertility support and benefits to HR/People teams, and the company works directly with corporate clients whose employee bases range from a few hundred to more than 10,000 each. Fertifa says it already collaborates with partners to bring its services to more than 700,000 U.K. employees. The team emphasizes a patient-centric, end-to-end model rather than acting solely as a broker or referral service. The company highlights the pandemic-driven demand for remote and accessible reproductive care and expects uptake in the U.K. and Europe to increase over the next three to five years. Financially, Fertifa completed a $1.3 million financing led by Passion Capital with strategic angel participation, reflecting early-stage traction during the pandemic.
