Fides is a web-based legal SaaS platform that digitizes entity and board governance for general counsels, consolidating bylaws, KYC, register excerpts, cap tables, org charts and decision timelines. Its software offers templates, legal guidance, and a compliant framework to execute and document governance decisions across multiple entities. Around 20 European companies — including Chrono24, Pitch and the VC fund Headline — are using Fides. The company charges a monthly fee that scales with the number of entities a customer manages. Fides plans to roll out to large enterprises with 50+ subsidiaries as its core market in three months. Part of the $4.3M seed will be used to develop an AI tool to automate governance tasks. The team is currently 16 (mostly engineers and lawyers) and plans to grow to about 40 in the next 12 months.
