Overview
Founded in 2022, Filigran develops open-source security tools that help enterprises anticipate and counter cyber threats. Its flagship product, OpenCTI, aggregates threat intelligence from sources such as CrowdStrike and has been downloaded millions of times. The company also offers OpenBAS, which simulates real-world cyber-attack scenarios, and is building OpenGRC to let customers prioritize risks and guide remediation efforts; an AI agent platform is also on its roadmap. Filigran’s solutions are used by over 6,000 public and private entities, including the FBI and the European Commission. Headquartered in Paris, the startup markets its technology as “real-time intelligence” that makes threat data actionable across security teams. The new funds will fuel expansion in the Pacific region and the Middle East while deepening its presence in the U.S. and Europe. Filigran has raised more than $100 million to date, underscoring strong investor confidence in its product suite and growth trajectory.
