Finfra

Jakarta, Jakarta Raya, Indonesia

Overview

Finfra provides an API-driven loan management platform that includes credit scoring, portfolio analytics, and access to debt capital for non-financial platforms. The company plans to use its new funding to expand onboarding capabilities and to enhance data analytics, scoring, and risk-assessment products. Finfra works closely with an affiliate and the Indonesian Financial Services Authority (OJK) to ensure regulatory compliance and sustainable growth. It has expanded regionally with launches in the Philippines and Vietnam and announced a partnership with Tyme Group to support further expansion into the country as part of its Southeast Asia strategy. Since its last fundraise Finfra has doubled its client base and expects to more than double its quarterly gross profit in Q4 2024 compared to Q4 2023. To date the company has facilitated over $65 million in credit to underserved Indonesian businesses and counts customers including GoCement and Mekari; CEO Markus Prommik leads the business. Finfra builds tech infrastructure, including a loan management system and APIs, that enable online businesses to launch white‑label credit services. It focuses on digital supply chain platforms, agtech companies and merchant e-commerce, primarily serving B2B while also supporting B2C use cases. The most popular implementations are invoice financing and purchase financing. Finfra integrates risk controls and clients' platform data and provides portfolio analytics to help customers monitor lending KPIs and control the customer experience. The company grew out of consumer financial services provider Danabijak, which is profitable and will continue operating as a subsidiary of Finfra. Finfra raised $1 million in new funding to be used for product development and to grow its engineering, data and finance teams. The startup positions other embedded finance platforms that offer credit as potential allies rather than competitors and expects regulatory moves toward financial inclusion to bolster demand.
